The investment features consolidates all information related to the investment portion, including time-weighted rate of return, realized gains and losses, unrealized gains and losses, dividend income, comparison with market returns, unrealized return, total investment value, and other relevant data.

The investment screen calculates profit and loss, return on investment, total asset value, etc. The calculation period is based on the time range specified, as illustrated in the following figure, from 2021-11-06 to 2023-12-10.

Accumulated Return

Clicking ^v(1) enables you to collapse or expand all sub-screens.

The calculation period (2) serves as the reference period for all numerical values in this function. Clicking (3) allows you to modify the date range. Please refer to the date range settings for more information.

The target annual return(4) allows you to set the target annual return for your investment. The yellow line graph represents the cumulative return rate that should be achieved on the corresponding date when the target annual return is met. You can compare the actual return with the yellow line graph to understand whether the real investment return has met the target return. If the actual return is higher than the yellow line graph on a specific date, it indicates that the target return has been achieved from the start date to that particular date.


Actual Investment (5) represents the performance of the actual investment within the specified date range (2021-11-06 to 2023-12-10). It includes cumulative return, annual return, and return standard deviation.

Target Return (6) represents the target performance within the specified date range (2021-11-06 to 2023-12-10). It includes cumulative return and annual return (equal to the target annual return).

Performance

By clicking on the market name (1), the cumulative return graph for that market will be displayed in the cumulative return section. Cumulative return, annual return, and return standard deviation are calculated based on historical data within the specified period.

Clicking (1) will display the cumulative return graph in the chart (2).

Gains and Losses

The calculation period for investment gains and losses is based on the date range set in the options.

Realized Investment Gains and Losses (1) calculate the realized investment gains and losses for the specified date range (2021-11-06 to 2023-12-10). It represents the gains or losses incurred when selling investment assets within this period.

Dividend Income (2) calculates the total amount of dividend income for the specified date range (2021-11-06 to 2023-12-10). It represents the sum of dividends received during this period.

Unrealized Gains and Losses (3) calculate the sum of unrealized gains or losses as of the end date of the specified date range (2023-12-10). This reflects the total unrealized gains or losses on investments as of that particular day.

Holding Details

Total Value (1) calculates the total value of the stock details in the currency specified in the Setting -> Primary Currency. The total value of stock details includes the total value of all investment assets across all accounts.

Security’s Symbol(2) and name(3)

Security’s Quantity (4) multiplied by the Latest Price of the security (5) gives the price change for the day (6). It reflects the daily price movement based on the quantity and the latest price of the security.

Price currency value of the security(7), Primary currency value of the security (8), Daily Change in total price currency value(9), and Daily Change Percentage in total price currency value(10) (equal to the price change percentage for the day). These metrics provide insights into the total value of the security, both in the default currency and price currency, as well as the daily changes and percentage changes in the total price currency value.

Account Holding Details

Total Value (1) represents the portfolio’s holding value calculated in the primary currency. Total Cost (2) represents the portfolio’s holding cost calculated in the primary currency. Unrealized Return (3) is calculated as the difference between Total Value and Total Cost, divided by Total Cost. This metric provides the unrealized return for the portfolio.

Security’s Symbol(4) and name(5)

Security’s Quantity (6) multiplied by the Latest Price of the security (7) gives the price change for the day (8). It reflects the daily price movement based on the quantity and the latest price of the security.

The total value of the security in the price currency (9) represents the overall worth of the security based on its price currency market value and quantity. The total cost of the security in the price currency (10) represents the total cost associated with acquiring the quantity of the security.

The unrealized gains or losses of the security in the price currency (11) represent the change in value of the security since its acquisition. The unrealized return of the security in the price currency (12) is calculated as the ratio of the unrealized gains or losses (11) to the total cost (10). This metric provides insight into the percentage return on the security based on its price currency market value compared to the total cost.
